Gunner Marketing Group’s Strategic Consultant, Schryse is responsible for driving the company’s business development and customer strategy.

Over the past 20 years, Schryse has become a sought-after corporate leader, known for building exceptional brands, launching winning global products into the marketplace and developing high performance teams.

Before joining Gunner Marketing Group, Schryse was the Vice President of Marketing for Avery Dennison’s Materials Group. She was responsible for the product management, commercialization and business development of a $1.5B North American material science business. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Schryse led the Consumer Brands team for Dawn Food Products, a global manufacturer and distributor of bakery products. As a vice president, Schryse was responsible for brand management, sales, R&D and market research. Under her leadership the Consumer Brands retail sales grew from $9M to $125M. Her eight-year experience in product management and marketing communications with General Motors’ Oldsmobile and Cadillac divisions were integral to her success.

Schryse started her career in the food industry with General Mills. There she held regional and national marketing positions representing several leading brands – Big G cereal, Betty Crocker products and Yoplait yogurt.

Schryse holds a BS in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and a MS in Marketing from Northwestern University. In addition to her responsibilities with Gunner Marketing Group she is also a Partner with Life Logistics and an Advisory Board Member for the Feasibility Research Group. While at General Motors Schryse was named Marketer of the Next Generation by Brandweek Magazine.
